Tour Itinerary
As this tour will be completely private you’ll have some flexibility to modify the stops throughout the day. Just talk to your guide to see what is possible. The itinerary below is a sample and the order of stops will vary depending on each individual client and the pickup location.
Day 1

1. Hotel pick upOne of our comfortable vehicles will pick you up from your hotel at around 6 am. Sit back, relax and just enjoy. You will have enough time to sleep in the car before the first stop or discuss all the key points with your guide. |

2. Sergiev Posad, St. Trinity St. Sergius LavraWe will arrive at the most famous spiritual center and biggest monastery in Russia. You will have a 1-hour guided tour around the monastery where you will be able to see the original coffin of St.Sergius, a monk who lived in the 14th century as well as the place where his holy relics are kept. |

3. Market in Sergiev PosadNear the monastery you can find the cheapest market with beautiful souvenirs, especially matreshka dolls produced right here in Sergiev Posad, a famous manufacture center of matreshka dolls of 19th century. |

4. Rostov the GreatNext stop of our trip is a small town Rostov the Great. We'll visit the Kremlin of Rostov the Great, one of the most beautiful and unique architectural ensembles of Russia dating from the 17th century. Upon your wish and in case we have enough time we might visit the Spaso-Yakovlevsky Monastery. |

6. Yaroslavl. Night at the hotelAt around 5 or 6 p.m. we will come to Yaroslavl and leave you at your hotel or offer you some restaurant in the city center to have dinner. |

7. Yaroslavl. City tourWe will visit the cenral area of Yaroslavl: the Spaso-Saviour Monastery, Elijah the Prophet church and some other beautiful places. |

8. Lunch in YaroslavlWe will try traditional Russian cuisine in a city restaurant |

9.KostromaWe are arriving at Kostoma to visit the "pearl" of the Russian medieval architecture, the Ipatievsky Monastery where the first Russian tsar from the Romanov dynasty was staying during the rule of Lzhedmitry II |

10. Suzdal. Night at the hotelAt about 7 or 8 p.m. we are coming to Suzdal and leave you at your hotel or offer you some restaurant in the city center to have dinner. |
Day 3

11. SuzdalWe'll visit the Kremlin of Suzdal, the ancient part of this small town and some churches and monasteries. You will be amazed at findng so many churches at every turn. We are going to visit Suzdal's open-air Museum of Wooden Architecture where you can learn about the Russian way of buiding houses in the 19th century. This peaceful place is ideal for relaxation and contemplation. |

12. VladimirVladimir is an old Russian capital which preserved some of the best examples of pre-Mongolian achitecture. The Assumption Cathedral, St. Demetrius Cathedral and the Golden Gate are on UNESCO heritage list. |

13. Bogolyubovo (optional)On the way to Suzdal if time allows and if you wish we might visit the Bogolyubovo Monastery as well as enjoy the exceptional beauty of the 12th century Intercession church on the Nerl River standing on a slightly elevated man-made hill in a meadow Important! The way to the church takes around 20 minutes on foot and 20 minutes back. No way for car! But the view is extremely beautiful especially in the spring when the river floods the surroundings. |

15. Go back to your hotelOn the way back you can relax or discuss the impressions with your guide, the way back takes about 3-4 hours depending on the location of your hotel in Moscow. |
