Two-day tour is a nice opportunity to see old Russian cities in a short time. You will visit Sergiev Posad, a mecca for pilgrims and tourists from all over the world, Alexandrov, a principal city of Russia during Ivan's the Terrible time, Vladimir, once a capital of Russia,  and cosy Suzdal a tiny  museum-like town. You will be accompanied by our professional guide and driver all the way. If you want to see maximum in the short period of time, this tour will suit you perfectly.

Tour Itinerary
As this tour will be completely private you’ll have some flexibility to modify the stops throughout the day. Just talk to your guide to see what is possible. The itinerary below is a sample and the order of stops will vary depending on each individual client and the pickup location.
Day 1
1. Hotel pick up

One of our comfortable vehicles will pick you up from your hotel at around 6am. Sit back, relax and just enjoy the scenery and interesting stories told by your guide. You will have enough time to sleep in the car before the first stop or discuss all the key points with your guide.

 

2. Sergiev Posad, St. Trinity St. Sergius Lavra

We will come to the most famous spiritual center and biggest monastery in Russia. You will have  a 1-hour guided tour around  the monastery during which  you will be able  to see a coffin of St.Sergius, a monk who lived in 14th century,  as well as the place where his holy relics are kept. 

 

3. Market in Sergiev Posad

Near the monastery you can find the cheapest market with beautiful souvenirs, especially matreshka dolls produced right here in Sergiev Posad, a famous manufacture center of matreshka dolls of 19th century.

 

4. Alexandrov

Next stop of our trip is a small city of Alexandrov.We will visit its Kremlin. It was the residence of famous Tsar Ivan the Terrible for 17 years. So you will visit a very important historical place of our country.

 

5. Break for lunch

In Alexandrov or Suzdal we suggest you visiting one of traditional Russian restaurants

 

6. Suzdal. Night at the hotel

At about 5 or 6 p.m. we will come to Suzdal and leave you at your hotel or offer you some restaurant in the city center to have dinner.

 

Day 2
7. Suzdal, city sightseeing tour

We'll visit the Kremlin of Suzdal and some monasteries. The city is unique because within a radius of  15 km2 you can find around 200 churches. You will also see traditional Russian wooden architecture dating from 18th-19th centuries.

   

 

8. Vladimir

Vladimir is an ancient cirty, once a capital of the Russian lands that preserved the best examples of pre-Mongolian achitecture. The Assumption Cathedral, St. Demetrius Cathedral and the Golden Gate are on UNESCO heritage list.

9. Break for lunch

After the  city tour in Vladimir we will have lunch in one of traditional restaurants.

 

10. Go back to your hotel

On the way back you can discuss your impressions with your guide or just relax and sleep, the way back takes about 3-3?5 hours depending on the location of your hotel in Moscow.
